Previously, by the initiative of Governor Veniamin Kondratyev a regional draft law «On development of tea planting» was adopted. A term «Krasnodar tea» was introduced in it. Those producers who solely use a tea leaf cultivated in the region are empowered to inscribe this name on the packaging. It is planned to approve the standards of «Krasnodar tea» at the federal level until the end of the year.
